Best birding is all year but two best seasons:
December to February: Dry season, best light, migratory birds from Europe present.
June to August: Also dry, best for Albertine Rift endemics breeding.
March to May and September to November is rainy – many birds breeding with colorful plumage but trails muddy.
Migratory birds from Europe come November to April – best time to see extra 100 species.
